1. Firmware Update NVE-M300P

Voit kytkeä NVE-M300P-navigaattorin myös Alpine-näyttöön, jossa ei ole kosketustoimintoa, ja ohjata järjestelmää RUE-M300-kauko-ohjaimella.

2. NVE-M300P Karttatiedoston päivitys

2.1. Map Update Preparation: Text-To-Speech (TTS) Management

Before proceeding with the Map Update itself, the NVE-M300P needs to be prepared.
Download the “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool” and extract the file on root directory of an empty USB stick (folder “M3” needs to be in root directory of the USB stick).

Requirements

  • High-speed internet connection
  • USB stick (2 GB or more recommended)

Instructions

  1. Power on NVE-M300P and connect the USB stick with the
    “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool”, folder “M3” in root directory of the USB stick.
  1. The “NVE-M300P TTS Manager Tool” starts up.
    All TTS voices marked with (*) are stored on the NVE-M300P unit.
  1. Select a TTS voice of your choice and press “OK”. The selected TTS voice will be available for navigation.
 All other TTS voices are transferred from NVE-M300P to USB stick. This process takes up to 15 minutes.
CAUTION: If you consider changing the TTS voice later on, the USB stick must be kept as a backup.
  1. Once the TTS voice preparation is finished remove the USB stick. NVE-M300P will restart automatically.

    All TTS voices, except your selection, are located on “USB stick\\NVE_M300P_Voices” as a backup.

Rekisteröi NVE-M300P ja tarvittavat henkilötietosi Naviextras Toolboxin avulla, joka on ilmainen PC-apuohjelma.

The navigation map update of your NVE-M300P is done by USB stick. This allows easy transfer of the map update to your installed navigation module NVE-M300P. During the update only revised or new content will be transferred from the USB stick.

Requirements


  • Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or higher

  • USB stick (4 GB or more recommended)

Prepare USB stick


  1. Download <<MU_NVE-M300P_xxxxxxxx.zip>> to your PC.

  2. Connect an empty USB stick to your PC.

  3. Extract the file (i.e. with WinZip/IZArc) onto the USB stick. The folder 
“M3” has to be stored in root directory of the USB stick.

  4. Safely remove the USB stick from your PC.

1) Power on NVE-M300P by turning on the ignition.

 

2) Connect the USB stick via the USB cable included in the box to NVE-M300P to start the synctool.

 

3) Press the “Collect device information”.

 

5) Press “Quit”.

 

7) Remove the USB stick, then press “Continue”. NVE-M300P restarts

automatically.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Press “OK” once Update or Backup successfully completed without errors.

 

6) Press “Yes” to quit synctool.

 

 

Download new or changed content to USB stick

1) Start Naviextras Toolbox and connect the USB stick to your PC. The prepared USB stick will be recognized as navigation device.

2) Purchase and install content and updates as described within Naviextras Toolbox.

3) Safely remove the USB stick from your PC.

1) Power on NVE-M300P by turning on the ignition and reconnect the USB

stick via the USB cable included in the box to start the synctool.

2) Press “Copy updates to your device”.

 

4) Press “OK” once Update or Backup successfully completed

without errors.

6) Press “Yes” to quit synctool.

 

 

 

 

3) Press “Yes” to initialize the update.

 

5) Press “Quit”.

 

7) Remove the USB stick, then press “Continue”. NVE-M300P restarts

automatically.

Huoltotiedote

Seuraavat tärkeät seikat pitää huomioida, kun asentaa päivityksiä NVE-M300P soittimeen Naviextras.com nettisivulta.

 

NVE-M300P tekee yksilöllisen ohjelmistotunnisteen (SWID) ensimmäisen käynnistyksen yhteydessä. Ohjelmistotunniste (SWID) lähetetään Naviextras.com sivustolle päivitysten yhteydessä. Tämä tehdään kopiosuojauksen säilyttämiseksi. Laitteesi tunnistetaan ohjelmistotunnisteen (SWID) ja omien tietojesi perusteella Naviextras -sivustolla.

 

Alpine Service käyttää PDF-tiedostoja ohjeissaan ja niiden avaamiseksi tarvitaan Acrobat Reader, mikä on Freeware-ohjelma (ilmainen). Tästä linkistä saat ladattua Acrobat Reader -ohjelman veloituksetta. Acrobat Reader 9 tai siitä uudempi versio on suositeltava: (Adobe Reader X (10.1) tarvitaan .pdf tiedostoihin, joissa on videosisältöä)..

SWID -numeron saaminen

SWID on tärkeä huollon kannalta, koska SWID -numero poistuu jos:

  • Huoltoliike vaihtaa NVE-M300P soittimen uuteen.
  • Huoltoliike joutuu vaihtamaan laitteen emolevyn.
  • NVE-M300P:n ohjelmisto asennetaan uudestaan.

Täytä SWID numero huoltoliitteeseen, mikäli joudut toimittamaan laitteesi huoltoon ja olet ladannut siihen päivityksiä.

Tätä ei tarvita, mikäli laitteesi on alkuperäisellä ohjelmistolla eikä siihen ole hankittu yhtään päivitystä.
