This head unit is Steering Wheel Remote Control Ready, allowing you to control the CD tuner directly with your steering wheel in almost any vehicle. The CDE-W296BT is especially useful in cars equipped with start-stop engine, since it will remain active when your engine stops at a crossroad or in stop-and-go situations. Built-in Bluetooth lets you stream music and make hands-free phone calls. You can also connect the latest iPhone models such as the iPhone 11/ Pro / Max to listen to all your iTunes content in your car.

You can even adjust the button and display illumination colour separately with a stunning 150.000 colour variations.

3-Way Crossover

The 3-way crossover adjusts the HPF (high pass filter) and LPF (low pass filter) of each band, as well as the slope (how fast the filter rolls off the highs or lows). You can make detailed adjustments to perfectly meet the characteristics of your speakers. Depending on your speaker setup, a passive network may not be necessary.

Made for iPhone

You can connect your iPhone or iPod via USB cable (not included) to enjoy the stored audio content or Apple Music (requires subscription to Apple Music and internet connection) in your car. Simply select songs, albums or playlists on your iPhone/iPod or directly through your Alpine head unit while you drive. Compatible with all iPhone and iPod models of the last years, including the latest iPhone 11 / Pro / Max models.

MediaXpander uses digital sound technologies to improve the sound quality of various compressed audio files such as MP3 and WMA. Employing optimal algorithms for each compression method, it retrieves the high frequency components lost during data compression.
